Aneika Leney is a research group leader at the University of Birmingham (UK). As a structural biologist, her research focuses on post-translational modifications and how these can be tuned to alter a variety of biological functions. Aneika did her PhD at the University of Leeds (Ashcroft and Radford groups), followed by two post-docs at University of Alberta, Canada and at Utrecht University with John Klassen and Albert Heck, respectively. She starting her own research group in 2019 wherein shoe focuses on enhancing photosynthesis and detecting novel molecular glues.
