Julien Marcoux is a CNRS research director in the ProteoToul group (Toulouse), a team of 25 people with strong expertise in large-scale and structural proteomics. After a PhD dedicated to Hydrogen-Deuterium eXchange-MS (E. Forest group) and two post-docs developing native MS and ion-mobility (C. Robinson & S.Cianférani groups), he was recruited by the CNRS in 2015 and established his own research focused on the study of both soluble and membrane complexes using a combination of both proteomics and various structural MS techniques. Recipient of the 2020 CNRS Bronze medal, he is also board member of the French National Proteomic Infrastructure ProFI and International Society for HDX-MS.
