Dr. Tanja Bange is a protein biochemist and mass spectrometrist specializing in protein quality control and N-degron pathways. Her research focuses on N-terminal modifications, such as Nt-acetylation and Nt-myristoylation, and their roles in protein stability, localization, and signaling. Combining biochemical and proteomics approaches, she investigates Nt-modifying enzymes and E3 ligases, aiming to develop N-degrons as therapeutic tools.
